Job Description:

As a Senior Operations Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of two busy Specialized and Emergency Centers. This role involves leading a talented management team with a focus on delivering exceptional client and patient care. You will work closely with the Business Manager to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of daily operations, including roster administration, staff mentoring, and professional development reviews.
  • Supervision of team leads and veterinarians, ensuring adequate resources and support are available to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Building relationships with referring veterinarians and identifying changes and innovation benefiting the team and centers.
  • Working with the business manager to improve service centers and client-patient experience.

As a key member of the management team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to enhance the overall experience for referral practices and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A veterinary degree satisfying SA registration or a Postgraduate qualification in a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role, with excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with the MS Office suite, especially Excel, and knowledge of RX Works and SmartFlow is desirable.
  • Project management experience is advantageous.
