Restaurant Management Role

La Fogata Mexicana Restaurant is seeking a skilled and experienced restaurant manager to join our dynamic team. This key position involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of our busy restaurant, ensuring exceptional service, maintaining high standards of food quality, and delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staff Oversight: Supervise staff members, provide training, and ensure that all team members are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Deliver exceptional customer service, resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner, and maintain a positive reputation for the restaurant.
  • Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain accurate records of stock levels and sales.
  • Financial Performance: Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, and make informed decisions to maximize profitability.
  • Safety and Sanitation: Ensure that the restaurant meets health and safety standards, maintain cleanliness and organization, and prevent accidents and injuries.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a restaurant manager.
  • Proven track record of success in managing high-volume restaurants.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with point-of-sale systems and electronic cash registers.
  • Knowledge of menu engineering and pricing strategies.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
