Maintenance Manager

We seek a dedicated professional to lead our maintenance team in Western Australia.

This role is responsible for ensuring all preventative and reactive maintenance tasks are completed and up-to-date. This includes providing hands-on assistance and limiting the need to engage contractors.

This is a Monday to Friday role, supported by an experienced General Manager of Property and a Property and Procurement Officer. You will oversee all WA sites, including current sites Singleton and Mandurah, as well as future sites being built or acquired.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the maintenance team to ensure all tasks are completed on time.
  • Provide hands-on assistance and limit the need to engage contractors.
  • Oversee all WA sites, including current and future sites.
Requirements:
  • Experience in building maintenance.
  • Experience managing a team.
  • Trade qualification (e.g., A Grade Electrician or qualified Plumber).
  • Aged care experience desirable.
  • Current driver's licence.
  • Thorough understanding of legislative requirements pertaining to maintenance and repairs.
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks, including use of tools and equipment.
  • Willingness to contribute to after-hours maintenance requirements from time to time.
  • Excellent communication skills and respect for residents and colleagues.
  • Previous experience working autonomously with limited direction.
