Job Overview:

The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in facilities management, with experience in overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of large properties. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of property maintenance, including supervising staff, coordinating projects, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilities Management
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of our facilities, ensuring that all work is carried out efficiently and effectively.
    • Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
    • Manage and coordinate projects, including renovations, repairs, and capital improvements.
  • Safety Compliance
    • Ensure that all facilities meet required safety standards, conducting regular inspections and audits as necessary.
    • Develop and implement safety protocols, procedures, and training programs to ensure that staff and students are aware of potential hazards and know how to respond.
  • Project Management
    • Plan, budget, and manage projects from start to finish, ensuring that all works are delivered on time and within budget.
    • Coordinate with contractors and service providers, ensuring that all works are carried out to the highest standard.
  • Leadership
    • Provide leadership and guidance to staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including staff, students, parents, and local authorities.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to processes and procedures as necessary.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and services, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
    Requirements:
    • 5+ years of experience in facilities management or a related field.
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols, with the ability to develop and implement safety plans.
    • Experience with project management software and tools, with the ability to coordinate and track multiple projects.
    • Degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, facilities management, or construction management.
