Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Enhancing established relationships with Local Government and Council clients across New South Wales, with support from the MD for introductions (regular travel within NSW is required)
  • Utilizing your industry expertise and connections to identify and pursue new project opportunities, collaborating with the Estimating and Projects team
  • Networking within the industry through events to stay informed about upcoming projects and build relationships
  • Collaborating with the Leadership team to strategize on business diversification and market development
  • Providing regular updates on activities to the MD and sharing market intelligence with colleagues

Candidate Profile

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Proven success in Civil Construction, particularly in securing projects related to Water, Sewer, and Pump Stations
  • Relevant engineering qualifications and strong technical knowledge; experience in Project Management or Estimating is advantageous
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to prioritize effectively to manage your time
  • Strong industry relationships that can be leveraged for business development
  • A collaborative spirit, a sense of humor, and a commitment to contributing to the company's growth
