We are seeking a skilled Contract Management Specialist to join our team at Blackbook Recruitment. As a key member of our Supply Chain Services Business Unit, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on contract management, ensuring that our contracts are commercially viable and align with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized advice to stakeholders on complex contract management issues.
  • Maintain contract management systems in line with quality and governance standards.
  • Conduct regular analysis and reporting on supplier and contract performance.
  • Lead negotiations and manage variations or terminations of contracts.
  • Monitor for emerging contractual issues and implement mitigation measures.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Keep all contract management documentation organized and compliant with governance standards.
  • Act as the primary liaison with internal and external stakeholders for legal contract matters.
  • Facilitate meetings to address all contract-related issues.
  • Review and maintain supplier certification requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop briefing notes, reports, and correspondence.
  • Work with the Contract Manager to enhance contract management policies and frameworks.
  • Prepare insightful reports on contract management service delivery.

Requirements:

  • At least 2-5 years experience in a procurement/contracts role.
  • Tertiary qualification in business management, supply chain management or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing a procurement function or improving existing procurement practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
