Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to fill the role of Senior Customer Service Officer.

  • Supervise day-to-day operations of the library service desk/branch, ensuring seamless delivery of services.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to library customers, addressing their needs with empathy and professionalism.
  • Resolve high-level or escalated customer requests, enquiries, and complaints in a timely and effective manner.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement library programs and activities catering to diverse cultures, abilities, and age groups.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within a fast-paced customer service environment.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Library & Information Services or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in customer service principles and practices.
  • A valid Driver License (Class C – NSW) and a current Working with Children Check, ensuring safe working practices.
