About Lockout-Tagout (Loto) Jobs

As a Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of equipment and machinery in our work environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and Implementing LOTO Procedures: Prepare and implement LOTO procedures for equipment and create switching orders when applicable.
  • Maintaining Safety Standards: Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with LOTO procedures.
  • Training and Communication: Conduct training sessions on LOTO procedures for all affected personnel and communicate any changes to the system.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records of all site LOTO-related activities and training sessions.
  • Incident Investigation: Participate in investigations of incidents related to LOTO failures and propose corrective actions.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Prior experience in developing and implementing lockout/tagout procedures, preferably in construction and/or E&M.
  • Proficient technical and operational knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
  • Strong communication and training skills with the ability to influence others to prioritize safety.
