Job Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Lockout-Tagout Coordinator.

In this position, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procedures for equipment lockout-tagout. This involves creating switching orders when necessary, designing LOTO mimic boards, and coordinating site-related activities with all parties involved.

You will also conduct training sessions on LOTO procedures, explain changes to personnel, and maintain records of all site-related activities and training sessions. Additionally, you will perform regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with LOTO procedures, investigate incidents related to LOTO failures, and propose corrective actions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing LOTO procedures for equipment
  • Creating and maintaining LOTO mimic boards
  • Coordinating site LOTO-related activities with all parties
  • Conducting training sessions on LOTO procedures for affected personnel
  • Maintaining records of all site LOTO-related activities and training sessions

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, along with at least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
