Energy Operations Specialist

With environmental sustainability and optimization at the forefront of our datacenter design and operations, we continue to grow and evolve as we meet the ever-changing business demands that hold us as a world-class cloud provider.

You will oversee and assure the overall compliance of our Energy Isolation Program and establish acceptance criteria for authorizing campus Energy Isolation Plan.

You will implement learnings, provide consistency, and drive rigor into our Energy Isolation program and ensure it meets or exceeds our company safety policy requirements.

  • Liaise with our construction team where Energy Isolation activities may potentially impact data center core operations
  • Establish with the Engineering team a centralized Lockout Tag Out (LOTO) procedure with all campus entities and determine if a group or individual LOTO procedure will be required
  • Commence energy isolation activities with updates on a continuous basis
  • Utilize local code and standards as the foundation for our Energy Isolation program that is implemented throughout the campus

To succeed in this role, you should have 6+ years of technical engineering experience or equivalent qualifications. You should also be able to effectively communicate complex technical solutions and concepts to engineers and non-engineers.
