Equipment Maintenance Professional

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to take on a dynamic role combining equipment and facility maintenance with the development of our preventive maintenance plan.
The ideal candidate will bring strong mechanical expertise, a proactive mindset, and excellent organisational skills to help maximise uptime, drive operational efficiency, and support production excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on Heidelberg offset presses, die-cutting equipment, related pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems, as well as general facility infrastructure to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Act swiftly to resolve equipment failures, minimising downtime and ensuring continuous production flow and maintain critical spare parts inventory.
- Develop and manage a robust preventive maintenance program based on OEM guidelines and historical performance data.
- Schedule and execute planned maintenance activities with minimal disruption to production, while maintaining accurate maintenance records.
- Partner with Production and Quality teams to align maintenance efforts with operational goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Uphold all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and liaise with OEMs and vendors for technical support and equipment upgrades.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a printing or packaging manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in preventive maintenance planning.
- Technical diploma or trade certification in Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics or related field preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High level of autonomy and adaptability.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- High regard of adhering to safety standards.
