Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Casual Disability Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our support network, you will be responsible for providing after-hours assistance to individuals with disabilities in their homes or community settings.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality support services to individuals with disabilities in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation.
- Develop positive relationships with children and family members, ensuring a nurturing environment.
- Encourage social and recreational activities to promote engagement and well-being.
- Maintain accurate records and follow care plans while ensuring confidentiality and respect for privacy.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Disability Support Worker or in a similar caregiving role.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and after-hours shifts.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with children and family members.
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable personality to deliver exceptional care.
- Knowledge of disability support practices (preferred).
Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate: $30-$34 per hour
- Casual hours available: 3-9 hours per week
- Variety of shifts including afternoon, evening, and night shifts.
Licence/Certification:
- First Aid and CPR Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

- Australia (preferred)
