About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our learning and development team. As Assistant Director Learning and Capability, you will be responsible for driving the development, delivery, and ongoing improvement of our learning and capability programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diversity of Skills and Expertise Lead the development, delivery, and ongoing improvement of ACCC's learning and capability programs.
  • Critical Thinking and Problem Solving Maintain and implement the ACCC Capability Framework.
  • Strategic Planning Develop and implement the SES and whole of agency Performance Framework.
  • Business Acumen Design and implement a skills taxonomy aligned to the ACCC's job family framework.
About You
  • Leadership Experience Demonstrated experience leading a learning and development team or similar role in a fast-paced and large complex people-centred organisation.
  • Talent Management Demonstrated expertise in learning and capability strategy, design, delivery, and evaluation.
  • Project Management Experience managing learning systems, mandatory training programs, and enterprise capability frameworks.
  • Innovation and Creativity Strong understanding of performance frameworks and talent development models, including the 70:20:10 model and how to operationalise it in a hybrid learning environment.
