About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Lifestyle Officer. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lifestyle programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure a holistic approach to care, focusing on the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to resident needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Work closely with the care team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans that promote resident independence and autonomy
Requirements
  • Certificate III/IV or Diploma in Lifestyle and Leisure or Diversional Therapy (or similar)
  • Experience in an aged care facility, with a focus on person-centred care and dementia support
  • Ability to work on a permanent part-time basis (3 days per week)
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to follow directives and update resident documentation as required
  • Understanding of aged care and resident rights and responsibilities
  • Up-to-date vaccinations and National Police Certificate
