We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounts Payable Officer to join our dynamic finance team at Fitness and Lifestyle Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire invoice lifecycle, from initial receipt to final payment.
Key Responsibilities- Invoice Management: Ensure invoices are captured correctly, in compliance with tax and GST legislative requirements.
- Payment Processing: Meet KPIs regarding processing queues for accounting review, prepare and load payment runs into the bank, and review and post payment batches and intercompany transactions.
- Vendor Management: Create and validate vendor information, perform vendor card and vendor ledger maintenance, and reconcile supplier accounts.
- Financial Analysis: Identify and investigate accounts payable balancing issues, and post adjustments.
- Team Support: Provide guidance to the accounts payable team and support the finance and procurement teams as needed.
- Experience: Demonstrated full-function and high-volume accounts payable experience in a senior or supervisory capacity.
- Skills: Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, analytical and problem-solving mindset, exceptional time management and organizational skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Education: Relevant qualifications in finance or accounting.
