Financial Analyst Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Accountant to join our organization. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong background in accounting and finance to contribute to the success of our team.

The Senior Cost Accountant will play a key role in shaping the future of digital transformation by providing accurate and timely financial information to support business decisions.

  • Support the implementation of processes, policies, and procedures to ensure accuracy of accounting and reporting.
  • Manage complex journal entries for the company during the financial month-end closing and reporting process.
  • Partner with key business stakeholders and business finance partners to provide accounting guidance and ensure adherence to applicable guidance, policies, and procedures.
Main Responsibilities
  • Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation for the monthly, quarterly, and yearly close process, with a primary focus on Expense accounting.
  • Support cross-functional teams with systems implementation and testing of financial data to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Prepare various balance sheet account reconciliations, ensuring proper supporting documentation and identifying potential issues.
  • Analyze and document income statement and balance sheet fluctuations, with an emphasis on prepaid expense management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3+ years of accounting experience in a corporate accounting or financial reporting setting.
  • Proficiency in database tools and financial reporting packages.
  • Clear communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts to a non-technical audience.
