Chief Financial Officer

A forward-thinking enterprise seeks a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to oversee financial operations, manage day-to-day accounting functions, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit card transactions, and balance sheet accounts.
  • Maintain organized financial records for all locations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and supervise accounting staff, providing guidance and performance management.
  • Partner with operations to track KPIs such as labor costs, chemical usage, and revenue per unit.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax preparers as needed.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
  • Experience in multi-location businesses (retail, hospitality, convenience retail, or similar industries preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; accounting system experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
