Quality and Patient Safety Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled nurse professional to play a key role in our healthcare organisation's quality and patient safety initiatives.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will provide vital support for the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of quality and infection control procedures, practices, and standards. This will involve working closely with multidisciplinary teams and participating in relevant committees to collect and collate data and monitor performance indicators.
Responsibilities:
- Providing support for the development and implementation of quality and infection control strategies.
- Collaborating with colleagues to identify and address areas for improvement in patient care and safety.
- Conducting clinical audits and monitoring to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Participating in quality improvement projects and contributing to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Current registration with the relevant health profession authority.
- Proven experience in a nursing or related field, preferably with a focus on quality and patient safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and information.
- Highly developed organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
