About the role :

  • Implement, monitor and evaluate the organisation's quality standards, policies, procedures and programs, providing clinical governance within the relevant CQHHS work area.
  • Manage processes to identify, avoid, or minimise risks to patients, staff, volunteers, visitors, and the Hospital and Health Services (HHS), in collaboration with the Practice Leader - Clinical Quality Safety and Accreditation.
  • Maintain accurate, secure records related to patient safety and clinical incident investigations, including recommendations and outcomes, in compliance with legislative standards.
  • Contribute proactively to the development, implementation, and evaluation of quality patient safety and risk mitigation initiatives to support continuous improvement and standards compliance (e.g., NSQHSS, Aged Care Standards, Disability Standards).
  • Assist business units in developing and monitoring patient safety initiatives.
  • Analyze data trends and produce reports for senior management to inform decision-making across CQHHS.
  • Support training of staff in patient safety and risk mitigation based on needs assessment and consultation with clinicians and management.

About you :

  • Registered Nurse applicants must hold current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current annual practising certificate.
  • Administration Officer applicants are not required to have mandatory qualifications, but relevant qualifications are highly desirable.

What we offer :

The total monthly remuneration can be up to $12,360, comprising:

  • An hourly rate between $ $58.30 (Nursing)
  • An hourly rate between $ $65.56 (Admin)
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
