Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Patient Safety Specialist. This role will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and evaluating quality standards, policies, procedures, and programs within the relevant work area.

About the Role:

  • Implement, monitor, and evaluate quality standards, policies, procedures, and programs
  • Manage processes to identify, avoid, or minimize risks to patients, staff, volunteers, visitors, and the organization
  • Maintain accurate, secure records related to patient safety and clinical incident investigations
  • Analyze data trends and produce reports for senior management

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) for Registered Nurses
  • A current annual practising certificate for Registered Nurses
  • Relevant qualifications for Administration Officers
