Defence Contract Delivery Professional

This role is responsible for overseeing the delivery of a Land Integrated Work Program contract in Melbourne. The successful candidate will support the delivery team in achieving project goals and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
The Project Manager will be accountable for developing and implementing strategic project plans aligned with client objectives and resource capabilities. This will involve managing client requests, resource assignments, and supplier engagement, including SMEs and member companies.
- Develop and implement project management strategies to achieve project deliverables.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Ensure effective communication and stakeholder management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate onboarding/offboarding, travel approvals, timesheeting, and Commonwealth compliance processes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3+ years of experience in project management roles focused on contract delivery and operational execution.
- Strong program management skills with the ability to plan strategically and manage performance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of building positive relationships.
- Proficiency in resource planning, budgeting, and performance monitoring across diverse teams.
- Familiarity with Defence systems including Office365, DPN, and PMO365.
- Currently hold and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 or higher Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth.
- In some instances, compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements may be an inherent requirement.
