We are looking for a seasoned Airfreight Logistics Expert to join our team in the Asia Pacific region.

Job Description:

An Airfreight Logistics Expert is required to oversee the management and coordination of urgent cargo transportation across a diverse range of commodities, serving all global industrial verticals.

The primary mode of transport will be airfreight, often requiring seamless integration with pre-carriage and on-forwarding solutions. Timely quotation, pick up, delivery, and maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction are essential requirements for this role.

The Expert must possess a deep understanding of global logistics, airfreight operations, and the capability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing tailored transportation solutions based on customers' requirements.
  • Ensuring the seamless execution of time-critical airfreight shipments from initial booking to final delivery.
  • Continuously tracking shipment status to provide real-time updates and identifying upcoming issues during the transport chain.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for customers and preparing shipping documents.
  • Collaborating closely with countries and branches despite working in a regional function.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Highly skilled & experienced in airfreight operations.
  • Strong understanding of logistics, pricing structures, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Capable of resolving issues quickly and efficiently while maintaining operational integrity and client satisfaction.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Detail-oriented, able to multitask, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to interact positively with colleagues.
