Job Title: Regional Logistics Specialist

Job Description:
In this critical role, you will be responsible for coordinating the transportation of urgent cargo across diverse commodities, serving various industrial verticals. You will oversee seamless integration with pre-carriage and on-forwarding solutions, ensuring timely quotation, pick-up, delivery, and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions:
  • Provide customized transportation solutions based on customer requirements.
  • Ensure the smooth execution of time-sensitive airfreight shipments from initial booking to final delivery, adhering strictly to timelines and client specifications.
  • Continuously track shipment status to provide real-time updates and proactively identify potential issues during the transport chain, executing corrective actions to ensure safe and timely delivery.
  • Act as primary customer contact.
  • Prepare and verify shipping documents, including airway bills and customer-provided documents.
  • Collaborate closely with countries and branches in a regional function.

Language Skills:

Able to read, analyze, and interpret moderate to complex business correspondence in English.


Qualifications:
  • Highly skilled & experienced in airfreight operations.
  • Strong understanding of logistics, pricing structures, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Capable of resolving issues and challenges quickly and efficiently, maintaining operational integrity and client satisfaction.
  • Exhibits high level of self-motivation, taking initiative to meet and exceed job expectations without constant supervision.
  • Detail-oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Able to interact positively and effectively with co-workers, subordinates, and supervisors.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

This role requires ability to work in and access airfreight-secured environments, in accordance with country regulations where employee is based.


Technical Skills:
  • MS Excel
    • Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and spreadsheet management.
  • MS Word & PowerPoint
    • Capable of creating and editing documents and presentations.
  • CargoWise
    • Proficient in using CargoWise for freight forwarding operations & financial entries.
  • Webcargonet
    • Proficient in using Webcargonet.

Education and Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of operational airfreight experience.
