We are seeking a talented Marketing and Events Coordinator to play a pivotal role in showcasing South Australia's world-class defence and space industries.

This is a dynamic position where you'll contribute to the planning and delivery of impactful marketing initiatives, and high-profile national and international events, that align with our strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Event Management: Planning, delivering, and evaluating a range of events including trade exhibitions, sponsored engagements, and business development initiatives.
  • Marketing Materials: Developing event collateral, websites, and other promotional materials using digital tools and platforms.
  • Sponsorship Negotiations: Negotiating and managing sponsorship opportunities to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Project Management: Managing multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicating clearly and effectively with stakeholders across government, industry, and the community.

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • Tertiary Qualifications: Appropriate tertiary qualifications in marketing and event management or relevant workplace experience.
  • Event Delivery: Demonstrated ability to plan, deliver, and evaluate events and marketing initiatives.
  • Marketing Principles: Strong understanding of marketing principles, brand management, and communications.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
