About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Event Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in event coordination and management, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with clients to build accurate events bookings and ensure seamless event execution
  • Deliver exceptional service standards through effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Establish client requirements and preferences to effectively facilitate their needs
  • Respond to meeting & events enquiries and upsell opportunities to maximise sales and revenue growth
  • Maintain accurate records and reports for the Operations Team, ensuring timely and efficient communication
Requirements
  • Proven experience in event coordination and management, preferably within the hospitality industry
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Confidence in proactive problem-solving and service recovery following any complaints or issues
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and conflicting deadlines
  • Knowledge of hotel systems and software, including Salesforce and Opera, is advantageous
