About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Geochemist to join our team, providing practical geochemical solutions to mine waste management for the mining industry. Your expertise will be pivotal in helping us deliver exceptional services to our clients across Australia, New Zealand, and internationally.

  • You will develop sampling and analysis programs, collaborate with commercial laboratories, and analyze data to produce comprehensive reports.
  • A key responsibility will be completing waste rock and tailings characterisation assessments to identify potential hazards and opportunities associated with geological material mined.
  • You will work closely with various disciplines, including Mining Engineers, Metallurgists, Mine Geologists, and Environmental Scientists, to complete mineral waste assessments of diverse mineral deposit types.
  • Your tasks will also include developing proposals, delivering results on time, reviewing company reports, supporting junior staff, and contributing to business development through conference presentations and client engagement.

About You:

To excel in this role, you must possess post-graduate qualifications in environmental geoscience or a related field, accompanied by extensive experience in consultant roles within the mining industry.
