The Key Responsibilities

This position involves supporting projects through all phases of development, from early-stage assessments through to closure. The tasks include planning, execution, and interpretation of geochemical investigations and studies, including characterisation of mine waste, water quality assessments, and predictive modelling of environmental impacts.

The Ideal Candidate will be degree-qualified in Environmental Science, Geochemistry, Geology, or a related field. They will have a solid understanding of geochemical processes and their relevance to mining and environmental projects. They will also be technically strong, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • A minimum of 10 to 15+ years' experience in environmental geochemistry, preferably within the mining or consulting sectors;
  • Experience in the design, execution, and interpretation of geochemical characterisation programs (e.g. static and kinetic testing);
  • Technical expertise in Acid Rock Drainage and related fields.
