The Role

This dynamic position supports multidisciplinary teams and clients in delivering high-quality outcomes, reporting to experienced professionals.

Responsibilities include planning, executing, and interpreting geochemical investigations and studies, including:

  • Characterisation of mine waste
  • Water quality assessments
  • Predictive modelling of environmental impacts

You will also have opportunities to build on existing project workloads and potentially grow the geochemistry team in the medium to long-term.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Environmental Science, Geochemistry, Geology, or a related field
  • 10-15+ years' experience in environmental geochemistry, preferably within the mining or consulting sectors
  • Technical expertise in Acid Rock Drainage and related fields
  • Strong data analysis and interpretation skills
  • Excellent technical writing and reporting skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across disciplines
  • A willingness to travel for fieldwork and project support within Australia and internationally
