About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled geochemist to provide technical support and leadership on environmental assessment and management projects, working closely with multi-disciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience in geochemical and water quality modelling; proficiency with GoldSim, Geochemist Workbench, PHREEQC or Excel/VBA.

Additionally, the successful applicant will have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements in Australia and be able to produce high-quality technical reports and communicate complex results to non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead technical support and guidance on environmental assessment and management projects.
  • Collaborate with clients and colleagues to deliver high-quality outcomes that make a difference.
  • Apply expertise in geochemistry across key markets including mining, renewables and large infrastructure.
  • Mentor early career specialists and provide training and guidance on projects.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree in chemistry, geology or environmental/earth science, with a background in geochemistry, hydrogeochemistry, analytical chemistry or similar.
  • Proven technical expertise in geochemistry/hydrogeochemistry and understanding of regulatory requirements in Australia.
  • Proficiency with software such as GoldSim, Geochemist Workbench, PHREEQC or Excel/VBA.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
