We are seeking an accomplished Senior Business Leader to join our esteemed Board of Directors. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation's strategic direction and driving long-term success.
About the PositionThis is a voluntary position that requires a significant commitment of time and expertise. You will be joining a group of experienced professionals who are passionate about making a positive impact in their community.
As a Strategic Governance Director, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing effective corporate governance and ensuring the organisation meets all performance, risk and compliance requirements.
- Contributing to the development of our strategic agenda and charting the way forward for our sector.
- Sitting on specialist sub-committees and attending social and public functions held by the organisation.
You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of policies on key issues and promote the profile and integrity of our organisation.
RequirementsWe are looking for individuals with high-level strategic thinking and leadership skills. Your background and experience in governance and compliance, financial management, and accounting will complement the existing skills of our Board.
You should be a strong communicator who can apply your strategic skills and expertise to contribute to the general business of the Board.
