Corporate Governance Leader

We are seeking a Corporate Governance Leader to lead governance, board management, and corporate services for a large organization.

">

In this pivotal role, you will support the CEO and Board of Directors to ensure excellence in corporate governance, board operations, and organisational compliance.

  • ">
  • Oversee all Board and Sub-Committee operations including meeting papers, reports, policies, schedules, and records.">
  • Support the CEO in preparation of reports to the Board and State Council.">
  • Manage onboarding, orientation, and training requirements for Directors.">
  • Provide high-level administrative support to Directors and Sub-Committee members.">
  • Lead board performance appraisals and contribute to key reports such as the Chairman's Address for the AGM.">
  • Manage Diligent Boards software and ensure governance resources remain accurate and accessible.">
  • Assist with strategic priorities, projects, and financial reporting inputs.">
  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance, risk, and regulatory requirements.">
  • Drive continuous improvement in governance systems, processes, and documentation.">

About You

You are a confident, collaborative leader who thrives in a governance-focused role.

  • ">
  • Experience working with Boards of Directors or senior leadership in a governance capacity.">
  • Tertiary qualifications in business management, corporate governance or equivalent experience.">
  • Minimum 5 years' leadership experience across multiple business functions.">
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality documentation and reporting at an executive level.">
  • A very strong eye for detail.">
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.">
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a consultative and team-oriented approach.">
  • Understanding of risk management, compliance, business continuity and quality improvement.">
