A career opportunity exists for an experienced IT professional to join the team at Newlands Coal Mine.

Reporting to the QLD IT Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expert advice across a range of standard software products and installed infrastructure.

You will apply your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to resolve system issues and achieve maximum uptime.

You will manage third-party service providers, vendors, and business users to deliver effective and efficient IT services.

Industry qualifications such as MTA/MCSA/MCSE are desirable but not essential, coupled with considerable experience in a similar role ensure you are a good fit for this role.

Knowledge of Microsoft client and server technologies, Active Directory Administration, TCP/IP, routing protocols, and general networking fundamentals is required.

Knowledge of PABX systems, PC hardware, fibre optic and copper cabling, and wireless/mesh radio technologies is also desirable.

This role is based on site where work will be performed on a Monday – Friday roster, with some after-hours commitments as required.
