Executive Leadership Opportunity

This senior leadership role in the finance team of a multinational industry-leading organisation requires strategic thinkers who can effectively manage and communicate the company's financial and corporate accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Drive timely completion of month-end accounting and reporting for the Australian region with support from the team
  2. Partner with cross-functional teams to drive timely completion of annual budgets for each site
  3. Develop and grow a high-performing team by enhancing existing capabilities and technical knowledge
  4. Support the Chief Financial Officer on business development opportunities as required
  5. Complete tax-related cycles and the annual tax return process in a timely manner
  6. Prepare regular cashflow forecasts to ensure sufficient cash reserves for growth, capital expenditure and working capital
  7. Derive a 'driver-based' budget using key revenue and cost drivers
  8. Complete supplementary reporting as required
  9. Review commerciality of existing supplier relationships and procurement opportunities
  10. Implement continuous improvement in systems, reporting, processes and efficiency
Requirements:
  • Candidates should ideally hold CA/CPA qualifications in accounting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
  • A strong attention to detail is required
  • The ideal candidate will enjoy hands-on work
  • Previous experience in complex, dynamic and fast-paced organisations is advantageous
