Job Title: Mechanical Supervisor

The role of a mechanical supervisor is to oversee the daily tasks, rosters, handovers and other activities to meet objectives relevant to the scope of work.

Maintaining high standards of employee and team performance, mechanical safety and compliance is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule, coordinate, manage and supervise daily tasks, rosters, handovers, etc. to meet objectives relevant to the scope of work
  • Ensure equipment undergoes a Plant Hazard and Risk Assessment before commencing work
  • Review progress against the short-term program and determine solutions to accelerate or optimise works to achieve the target program
  • Complete relevant paperwork in a timely manner
  • Understand interfaces relevant to the scope of work to minimise impact to time, cost, quality, safety

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Mechanical Trade or Engineering Qualification
  • General Construction Induction
  • 5+ years' construction and plant experience
  • 2+ years' experience in a supervisory role
  • Technical competency or detailed understanding in the area supervised
