Shape Australia's energy future by leading innovative projects in distributed energy and supporting the clean energy transition.

We are seeking a motivated professional with strong knowledge of DER products & integration, eager to grow their expertise while driving the transition of the NEM power system.

  • Lead engineering analysis to define technical requirements for distributed energy resources (DER).
  • Collaborate with industry stakeholders to develop solutions supporting a power system with high DER penetration.

The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Technology, Science, or Maths, with a focus on power systems, or equivalent work experience. They should also have strong analytical skills to interpret and summarise complex data and insights, as well as effective communication skills across diverse audiences and stakeholders.

Our Requirements:

  • Drive collaboration and stakeholder engagement, providing strategic advice for an integrated AEMO approach.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to develop technical positions and standards.
  • Prepare reports, recommendations, and presentations translating complex technical issues for executives, boards, and external stakeholders.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentor junior staff, and support key initiatives aligned with the Engineering Roadmap to 100% Renewables.
