Wireless Network Specialist Opportunity

This is a short-term contract role for an IoT specialist – Wireless Network Performance located at our office in Mitchell, Canberra.

The selected candidate will lead, validate and optimise radio configurations for IoT devices in Unit Metering projects to ensure smooth operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, validate and optimise radio configurations for IoT devices in Unit Metering projects to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Review and analyse wireless network performance metrics such as signal strength, packet loss, latency, jitter and throughput to identify areas of improvement.
  • Conduct field surveys, range testing and RF interference analysis to ensure optimal network performance.
  • Develop and execute validation plans, test methodologies and acceptance criteria to measure network performance.
  • Troubleshoot and optimise wireless performance through antenna adjustments, radio parameter tuning and network design improvements.
  • Produce technical reports with performance findings and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support end-to-end wireless solution development.
