Telecom Field Technician II

Job Title: Remote Field Technician
Location: Victoria, TX Area

Job Description:
We are seeking a Remote Field Technician to support Nokia Flexi hardware troubleshooting and maintenance, as well as remote cell site operations in the Victoria, TX area.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform site routines and break-fix tasks in the field during standard hours (8 AM - 5 PM).
  • Troubleshoot and maintain Nokia BTS hardware and associated systems.
  • Stay current with technical theory, applications, and operational practices.
  • Support technical and project-related efforts, ensuring effective communication as needed.
  • Contribute to disaster recovery planning and response, data services, and location-based services.
  • Apply a foundational understanding of network design, capacity planning, AC/DC power systems, and grounding principles.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in a related field.
  • Proficiency with Office 365 and Nokia BTS software.
  • Familiarity with radio access networks, backhaul systems, signaling, and operational best practices.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.

Preferred Skills:

  • Solid understanding of project management principles and practices.
  • Basic knowledge of disaster recovery processes and network design.
