As a Planning Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our operations by cultivating high-performing teams that embody our core values and drive our success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop stope designs, level plan layouts, and mining instructions to meet operational mining schedules.
  • Ensure mine plans consider ventilation, infrastructure, and pastefill requirements for optimal performance.
  • Create underground design optimisations, sensitivities, and reports to inform decision-making.
  • Guide production teams with planning guidance and weekly schedule development to achieve production goals.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering or a related field are essential.
  • A Completed WA First Class Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency or the ability to obtain one is required.
  • Strong underground engineering experience, preferably in gold operations, is highly valued.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mining software like Deswik and Ventsim is necessary for success in this role.
