Disability Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our Critical Supports Services Team in Capalaba. As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in assisting our customers with complex needs, providing exceptional care and innovative strategies to help them overcome daily challenges and reach their full potential.
About You:- You will excel in complex support environments, including In-Home Supports, Supported Independent Living, Clinical Settings, and Community Access.
- You will have experience in manual handling and providing personal care, including bathing, toileting, and dressing.
- You will maintain effective communication and strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- You will have extensive experience working with complex support needs, implementing Positive Behavioural Support Plans, and handling mental health challenges.
- You will be able to prioritise workloads and respond to emergent situations with ease.
- You will be flexible and able to work across various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, nights, and overnights.

Requirements:- You will have a current Open Driver's License.
- You will have a current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- You will have 1 year of experience in the Disability Sector, providing services to individuals with high-complex needs.
