
Space Technology Innovator

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to play a key role in the ongoing support and development of our innovative tool suite for the next generation of earth observation satellite operations.
This role involves collaborating with our multidisciplinary team of engineers, scientists and developers to solve complex issues across the entire satellite imagery infrastructure chain, from discovery to management administration.
The successful candidate will have exposure to the diverse range of uses for satellite imagery and the challenges associated with its acquisition and management.
This is a full-time role that may involve secondment on-site with clients. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating new commercial opportunities in the evolving space industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Work in partnership with clients and stakeholders to ensure their deployments work as expected.
- Maintain and consistently extend and update API design and implementations, visual web interfaces, and ensure their accuracy and ease of use by customers.
- Assist in the design, planning, and implementation of new platform and system features.
- Field customer enquiries about the platform and any issues customers experience interacting with it.
- Collaborate in review and remediation of features in the platform to improve user experience and clarity where issues are found.
- NV1 or better security clearance required.
- 6+ years experience developing and maintaining non-trivial API-based web applications.
- Experience with server-side rendering strategies and development without a client framework.
This role offers exposure to the diverse range of uses for satellite imagery and the challenges associated with its acquisition and management.
You will work with a range of international space agencies and commercial satellite operators.
