Job Overview:

This position plays a vital role in supporting the Insurance and Risk team, ensuring high-quality service delivery and fostering a culture of safety and proactive risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Insurance and Risk team to deliver exceptional client service and experiences.
  • Process insurance and risk data into our internal systems and databases for seamless tracking and management.
  • Triage incident reports, allocate files accordingly, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide expert assistance on Insurance and Risk product training queries and inquiries.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and update training materials on the HUBB platform.
  • Model the values of the Uniting Church in Australia, Queensland Synod in daily work interactions.
  • Adhere to Queensland Synod policies, procedures, and relevant legislation to maintain compliance.
  • Pursue other duties as directed within the scope of the role and capabilities, promoting efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Senior Certificate (Qld Year 12).
  • Desirable: Experience in Insurance or Financial Services, or a willingness to acquire necessary skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential.
  • Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong relationships.
  • Superior problem-solving and decision-making abilities to drive results.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage workload efficiently.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Additional Requirements:

  • Holding a valid Driver's license.
  • Eligibility to legally work in Australia.
