Obstetrics and Gynaecology Trainee Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Unaccredited Trainee to join our Obstetrics and Gynaecology team at Healthscope. As a key member of our clinical team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced staff specialists and VMOs, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our department.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the provision of clinical and operative services in the Interventional Suite, Delivery Suite, and Emergency Department.
- Participate in antenatal clinics, provide clinical assessments, management advice, and care for emergency admissions and inpatients.
- Perform operative procedures as required for the care and treatment of patients.
- Assist with patient admission and discharge processes.
- Hold a medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and be registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated clinical practice as a registered medical practitioner for a minimum of two years with progress towards career goals in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
- Demonstrated clinical competency and an ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, patient safety, and risk management.
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management, and problem-solving skills in the clinical setting.
