We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Obstetrics and Gynaecology Trainee to join our dynamic team at Healthscope Hospitals. As an Unaccredited Trainee, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced clinical environment, providing high-quality patient care and developing your skills in obstetrics and gynaecology.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the provision of clinical and operative services in the Interventional Suite, Delivery Suite, and Emergency Department.
- Participate in antenatal clinics, provide clinical assessments, management advice, and care for emergency admissions.
- Work with inpatients as required and directed, perform operative procedures, and arrange patient admission and discharge processes.
- Hold a medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and be registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated clinical practice as a registered medical practitioner for a minimum of two years with progress towards career goals in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
- Demonstrated clinical competency and an ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, patient safety, and risk management.
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management, and problem-solving skills in the clinical setting.
The Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department at Healthscope Hospitals is a dynamic and innovative clinical community with access to modern facilities and equipment. We work closely with a large team of skilled midwives and paediatricians in a collaborative fashion, providing a range of services including antenatal care, labour and birthing, gynaecology services, and emergency department support.
