  • Service Delivery: Provide modern and extensive obstetric and gynaecological services to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Training and Education: Facilitate and endorse training for clinicians spanning various disciplines, aiming for high-quality education and secure clinical practices.
  • Expertise: Possess significant expertise in women's health, demonstrating clinical proficiency in procedural obstetrics, encompassing assisted deliveries and caesarean procedures, as well as adept management of obstetric emergencies.

Our hospital is located in a picturesque region of South-Western New South Wales, offering a unique blend of rural charm and modern amenities. The area is known for its rich cultural diversity, with over 70 nationalities contributing to the vibrant community.

About the Hospital

Our hospital is a regional referral facility with 114 beds, operating at Level 4. We offer a comprehensive array of acute specialist services, including Emergency Medicine, General Medicine, General Surgery, and more.

Requirements
  • Registration: Registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, and/or overseas trained specialist pathways recognised by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
  • Clinical Experience: Demonstrated recent clinical experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at the role delineation of the service with substantial experience in gynaecological surgery.
  • Availability: Availability to participate in an on-call roster and to respond on site within a reasonable time.
