ClearCompany is seeking a highly skilled Staff Specialist to join our team in Gynaecological Oncology.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will provide a diagnostic and management service to all women with gynaecological cancer at the Royal Hospital for Women and agreed partnering hospitals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Department of Gynaecological Oncology to ensure that all recognised women with cancer are appropriately managed.
- Support and cover with the department in a team-based approach.
- Assist the hospital in teaching and providing clinical support for obstetric emergencies as directed by the Director of Medical Services.
Requirements:
- Registration or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) and/or specialist recognition as per the Health Insurance Act 1973.
- Certification in Gynaecological Oncology (CGO) or in the final year of CGO training.
- Evidence of continuing medical education and self-monitoring/audit practices.
- Proven capacity and/or experience in providing effective high-quality service in the specialty.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching and experience in teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary health care team.
- Commitment to provision of a high standard of clinical care.
- Experience in and commitment to research relevant to the role.
