Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled venue professional to lead our front-of-house operations. As a Venue Manager, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our clients, managing daily shift functions, and providing operational support as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage all Front of House (FOH) functions on a daily basis.
  • Create a professional environment where functions are always delivered consistently.
  • Train FOH staff to provide high-quality service.
  • Meet with clients to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback.
  • Attend to client needs, including problem solving and conflict resolution.
  • Liaise with clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and gather feedback.
  • Prepare function areas before each event.
  • Provide operational leadership and assistance as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in events management.
  • Experience in running multiple concurrent events and large catered events.
  • Proven ability to deal with customer complaints effectively.
  • Ability to lead, manage, and mentor staff.
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate and Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG).
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
  • Food Handling Certificate.
  • Manual Handling Certificate.
