Supply Chain Strategist

The Supply Chain Strategist is responsible for formulating and implementing supply plans to ensure the availability of products that meet customer demand while optimizing inventory levels and minimizing supply chain costs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive supply plans based on sales forecasts, historical data, and inventory targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including demand planners, production units, and procurement to ensure accurate planning and timely replenishment of products.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to maintain optimal stock across distribution centers or production sites.
  • Generate purchasing requisitions for timely procurement of manufacturing components and purchased finished goods.
  • Identify potential supply constraints and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to track key supply chain metrics such as inventory turnover, service level, and forecast accuracy.
  • Ensure system data such as lead times, safety stocks, and order quantities is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Ensure supplier performance aligns with supply requirements.
  • Support new product launches and phase-outs with appropriate planning and coordination.
  • Contribute to S&OP processes and meetings.
  • Continuously seek process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in supply planning, demand planning, or related supply chain roles.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in supply planning tools and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, or NetSuite.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with forecasting and planning tools is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • APICS (CPIM or CSCP) or similar supply chain certification.
  • Experience in procurement for international manufacturing operations.
