Key Role in Fintech

We are seeking a seasoned legal expert to join our team as a key advisor on product matters.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping the direction of our products and ensuring that they comply with relevant regulations.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about fintech and has a deep understanding of the industry.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of advising on complex commercial transactions and regulatory issues, and will be able to provide strategic guidance to our business development teams.

They will also be responsible for drafting and maintaining standard product terms, SLAs, and customer-facing documentation, as well as coordinating with our legal and compliance teams to identify and mitigate legal or regulatory risks.

The role will involve working closely with our product and engineering leaders to shape roadmap decisions and deliver practical legal advice on new products.

Additionally, the successful candidate will support our go-to-market strategy by advising on product terms, pricing models, design considerations, and ecosystem partnerships.

They will also be responsible for tracking emerging fintech regulations and industry trends related to blockchain technology, translating insights into actionable guidance for cross-functional teams.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high degree of expertise, strategic thinking, and collaboration.

Requirements
  • 7+ years post-JD experience advising on products, complex B2B commercial transactions, and regulatory issues in fintech, payments, or technology sectors.
  • Strong drafting and technical skills for technology and financial-services product documentation, including terms of service and customer-facing agreements.
  • Must have experience with blockchain or crypto-related legal matters, and a deep understanding of digital assets and payment systems.
  • Proven track record supporting global product launches and navigating regulatory and compliance challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex legal and business issues for cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
  • Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and in good standing.
Preferred Requirements
  • In-house counsel experience at a high-growth fintech, crypto firm, or payments platform.
  • Experience working across global jurisdictions and with emerging regulations (e.g., MiCA, GENIUS Act, NYDFS Part 200/500).
