Job Description

This role will cover multiple locations across Australia, Fiji, New Zealand, and beyond. As a Guest Experience Host Team Leader, you'll play a key leadership role within the sales team, focusing on training, mentoring, and developing our GEH team to meet and exceed performance targets.

You'll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the front desk, including greeting and registering owners and guests, managing bookings, and providing information on local area attractions. Your field marketing experience and customer-centric approach will ensure our guests receive a warm, professional, and memorable experience from check-in to check-out.

Responsibilities
  • Manage front desk operations, ensuring seamless guest experiences
  • Develop and implement training programs for the GEH team
  • Lead by example, demonstrating excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Assist the Front Office Manager with administrative duties, reporting, and communication tasks
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous experience in a similar hotel position
  • Proven ability to achieve targets in a GEH or similar sales-focused role
  • Genuine passion for customer service and the local area
  • Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a team to success
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and positive individual
  • Immaculate presentation and professional grooming standards
  • High levels of computer literacy
  • Previous experience with a PMS system advantageous
  • Ability to recognize and solve problems in the workplace
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
