Are you ready to lead one of Hobart's most beloved venues? We're looking for a passionate and energetic leader to take the reins of the legendary IXL Long Bar. This is more than just a job—it's your chance to shape unforgettable guest experiences, showcase your flair for hospitality, and leave your mark on a venue known for its charm, character, and cocktails.

In this hands-on leadership role, you'll be at the heart of the action—crafting beverages, connecting with guests, and driving the day-to-day operations. As a key member of our Food and Beverage leadership team, you'll also take charge of ordering, supplier relations, and keeping the IXL Long Bar ahead of the curve in a fast-paced, ever-evolving market.

To be successful in this role you will have exceptional food and beverage skills which are complemented by strong initiative, organisational ability and great interpersonal skills. Your understanding and practice of team leadership will be underpinned by your ability to provide support, training and guidance to staff.
- Proven leadership experience in the food & beverage service industry,
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders,
- Understanding of cost of goods,
- Strong cocktail menu engineering skills,
- Commercial viability of a menu,
- Accurate cash-handling and numeracy skills,
- Strong liquor service skills, with sound product knowledge and an appetite to continuously improve your knowledge.
